I am a bit biased having grown up in Colorado Springs & having chosen this place for my own micro-wedding, but there was something so grounding about committing to my partner in a place that has witnessed so many other love stories and so much history. I always recommend it as an option for those who are looking for an accessible, meaningful place to elope (that also happens to have all the incredible views you'd expect in Colorado).

When I was an archivist, I was always struck by wedding photos in the collections I worked with, and the more candid and fun, the better, as far as I was concerned. Laughter can still be contagious 100 years later! The knowledge that these photos will be enjoyed for years drives me to create authentic, fun & timeless images that document the experience as it truly happened.

FAQ
Will you travel to my wedding in Europe/New Zealand/Tahiti/Insert dream destination?
YES! I would love to travel with you, and for some destinations I may offer to photograph your wedding just for the cost of my travel/lodging. Travel within the United States is covered in all my packages.
I'm pretty camera shy, will the photos still look good?
Yes, absolutely! My goal for any session is to build comfort and trust, and from there the photos will turn out stunning, I promise! I will never force you to do any posing or activity that feels unnatural or uncomfortable.
How many images can I expect?
I don't cap photos per elopement or session. You'll get all usable photos that work within the story of the day. A typical amount would run from 50-100 photos per hour.
Do you have backup gear? And do you backup our photos?
Yes, I always bring a second camera and multiple lenses to each session. And yes, I use a dual slot camera which automatically backs up your photos, and after the session they are backed up to an SSD and cloud storage. I guarantee your photos for up to a year, but it is important to download and backup your gallery upon delivery.
